This visa allows you to visit Australia as a tourist to visit family and friends.

This is a temporary visa. 

You can stay for the period or dates specified on the visa grant letter. The length of your visa is decided on a case by case basis.

Considerations when determining your stay period include:

• how long you want to stay

• why you want to stay in Australia

Your visa may not be granted for the length of stay you want.

It may be granted for single or multiple entries.

If your visa is granted with multiple entries, you can leave and return to Australia on the visa while it is valid.

Generally, it will be granted for a period of 3 months but may be up to 12 months in certain circumstances.

Family members cannot be included in your application. Each family member must submit a separate visa application.
